          <p xml:lang="en">Project partners have granted the Institute for Habsburg and Balkan Studies of the Austrian Academy of Sciences permission to publish facsimile data within the QhoD project. Employees of this publically funded institution took images of archival sources or collected digitized items, and created descriptive metadata. The contents of the archival sources are not subject to copyright restrictions under Austrian law (Urheberrechtsgesetz), as the creators both of their ideal contents and their documentary material objects passed away more than 70 years ago (§§60-61 UrhG), and these materials are considered documents for official use (§7 UrhG).           <hi rend="#red">The following relates the <rs ref="#mpr9435"
              type="person">Austrian ambassador’s</rs> visit to the <rs ref="#mpr14728"
            type="person">admiral</rs>.</hi> On the fifth day of the month, a
                    Saturday, the <rs
            ref="#mpr9435" type="person">ambassador</rs> visited his
                    excellency the <rs
            ref="#mpr14728" type="person">admiral pasha</rs>. The <rs ref="#mpr14728"
            type="person">admiral</rs> dispatched his caique powered
                    with seven pairs of oars to the western gate pier. The <rs
            ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">ambassador</rs> embarked on the caique and around four
                    o’clock, the caique docked at the shipyard pavilion. As the <rs
            ref="#mpr9435" type="person">ambassador</rs> disembarked, holders of large fiefs wearing
                    sea-colored furs, their attendants, and the aghas of the kapudan pasha, all
                    wearing sable fur ceremonial cloaks, were disposed in order from the pier to the
                    entry of the reception room. The aghas of the inner court also stood in order
                    starting from the rear gate.</ab>
        <ab xml:id="ab.4">After the <rs ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">ambassador</rs> came and sat down on
                    the stool arranged for him in front of the pavilion door, his highness, the
                    prosperous <rs
            ref="#mpr14728"
            type="person">admiral pasha</rs>, came inside
                    wearing a sable fur on a green ceremonial cloak, upon which the <rs
            ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">ambassador</rs> rose to his feet and they all
                    sat down. Sweets and coffee were served. Afterwards, the <rs
            ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">ambassador</rs> was raised from the stool (and offered
                    another seat), followed by the performance of vocalists and musicians.
                    Thereafter, at half past six, a meal was served. The <rs
            ref="#mpr14728"
            type="person">admiral</rs>, the chief of the gatekeepers, and the warden
                    of the shipyards sat down [together]. After the meal, the vocalists and
                    musicians performed again. Next, the <rs
            ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">ambassador</rs>, accompanied by the chief of the gatekeepers, went to take
                    a look at the shipyard and galleons. Then, he came back by caique and sat
                    down. Following yet another <pb
