Istanbul? According to the travelogue of Ibrahim Pasha’s mission to Vienna,
written probably by Nahifi Süleyman Efendi in 1726, <ref

Pasha went to the palace “a month before his departure.” That is, the departure
from Istanbul must have taken place on April 19, 1719. Another clue that confirms
the departure of the delegation a month after the farewell ceremony in the palace
is the arrival of Ibrahim Pasha and his delegation to Niš on May 8, 1719 where
they then waited for thirty-six days for the arrival of the Austrian mission to
the border. If the Ottoman delegation would have indeed departed from Istanbul on March 23

travelogue</ref>, that would have meant that the journey from Istanbul to
Niš took about forty-five days, which is too long a time to travel
                    between the two cities.</note>
