Virmont reports from Belgrade that negotiations with the Ottomans concerning the grand embassy exchange on the border are underway;
Graf von Oduyer carries out the talks on behalf of the Habsburgs, yet he is constantly informing Virmont and gets the ambassador’s opinion on matters that were being discussed;
the Vasquez ve Cordova cuirassier units that were commanded to escort Virmont during the embassy exchange are late;
the luggage train is located on the other bank of the Danube and is about to arrive;
Virmont soon departs for Smederovo
