About the value of medre, see the footnote in the first order issued about the same topic. My illustrious edict has been issued that as the wine is being transported to his residence, from now on, no money shall be demanded by superintendents and officers under the name of customs duty, tribute, favors, outlay, or under other pretexts. No one shall hinder its transportation.
