Abstract
Oettingen-Wallerstein and his entourage have been in quarantine for about four weeks, which he considers to be enough. He asks for permission to continue his journey. The longer they stay, the higher the ongoing costs.;
Two days ago, the secretary of the english ambassador arrived. In the name of the Sublime Port, the ambassador complained about count Marsigli and the unfinished process of defining the border. Oettingen-Wallerstein attaches the formal complaint. As is plain to see, this was only an excuse to contact Oettingen-Wallerstein to remind him of some money that was granted to him and Mauvrocordatos. The two of them are very close and looking for an excuse to come to Vienna and negotiate about that money. Oettingen-Wallerstein asks for a drafted reply that he can send to both of them.;
From the group that travelled to Jerusalem, count Thun and several others died from the plague. Count Sauer (von Anckenstein) did not, although he was reported dead. Count Kollonitz was severely ill but recovered. The remaining travellers will return to Vienna via Malta and France.;
Oettingen-Wallerstein hopes to return to Vienna around Candlemas. As it will be more than three month after the death king of Spain's death, he hopes to be allowed to make a festive entry to the city.;
It was very hard for Oettingen-Wallerstein to leaves his son in Constantinople.
