Abstract
Since Oettingen-Wallerstein has not received orders on the matter of wearing or relinquishing his arms during the audience, he reports to have inquired with experienced dipolmats in Constantinople and decided not to insist on his sabre but to order his whole retinue to disarm.;
Regarding the border demarcation commission of count Marsigli the grand ambassador asks for news.;
After having received a report about the agreed upon prisoner exchange in Belgrade Oettingen-Wallerstein requests further orders on how to deal with the immense amount of Christian prisoners without angering the Ottomans.;
Oettingen-Wallerstein thanks the emperor for sending additional clocks as gifts and expresses his satisfaction, since the carried gifts now suffice and the question of distributing the presents to the veziers and sultanas is also solved.;
Regarding the debts owed to Alexandros Mavrocordatos, the grand ambassador reports on the creditor's atttitude towards the issue and advises again to write an explicit letter to the debtors.;
On the emperor's request to deliver a message for tsar Peter I. to whose envoy in Constantinople, Oettingen-Wallerstein judges there is little to be gained, since the Russian envoy is under observation and both states seem to be willing to continue the war anyways, diplomatic efforts are deemed a ruse to gain time.;
The Dutch ambassador Jacobus Colyer expressed his gratefulness for receiving an imperial diploma elevating him to a count to Oettingen-Wallerstein.
