Abstract
On the previous day, Kurtz arrived in Komárom, where he will spend a few days due to illness. The pasha of Buda is not putting any more obstacles in the way of setting up the border commission, so work will soon begin. He has promised to recall the Ottoman troops and stop raiding in the area. The Sublime Porte is determined to have peace with the emperor, the reasons for this will be reported by the resident of Constantinople.
