Abstract
Kurtz asks the emperor to send two letters with this courier to the pasha of Buda,
with copies. One of them should state that negotiations cannot begin until the envoy
is released from Buda. In the second, more severe and dated 8 days earlier, the
commissaries were to be recalled and the pasha held responsible for the consequences.
Recommends the services of resident Sebastian Lustrier and courier Peter Crabat. A
Transylvanian embassy is expected in Buda, headed by László Bornemissza.
