Abstract
The decree is addressed to the King of Vienna, acknowledging the receipt of his envoy and his letter of sincere friendship. It confirms the receipt of the tax payment from Austria and the details presented in the letter, noting the unresolved issues of border demarcation due to obstacles. The sultan issued a decree to the beylerbey of Buda, Mustafa, to ensure that there would be no interference or aggression from either side towards the villages listed in the imperial register. The sultan emphasizes the importance of maintaining peace and the treaty and preventing any harm to the people. If either side violates these terms, severe punishment will follow. Both Austrian and Ottoman agents, as well as knowledgeable men, are instructed to resolve disputes amicably and to ensure the comfort and ease of the people on both sides. The King is encouraged to report any concerns with a joyful letter.
