          <p xml:lang="en">Project partners have granted the Institute for Habsburg and Balkan Studies of the Austrian Academy of Sciences permission to publish facsimile data within the QhoD project. Employees of this publically funded institution took images of archival sources or collected digitized items, and created descriptive metadata. The contents of the archival sources are not subject to copyright restrictions under Austrian law (Urheberrechtsgesetz), as the creators both of their ideal contents and their documentary material objects passed away more than 70 years ago (§§60-61 UrhG), and these materials are considered documents for official use (§7 UrhG).                days end propitiously. After conveying our friendship to you, the
               reason for writing this genuine letter is as follows: we have received your letter
               that expresses your friendship to the fortunate and felicitous <rs

            type="person">sultan</rs>, who is the lord of the fortunate conjunction. All the
               contents of your letter have been accepted. As a sign of our friendship, we have
               interpreted your letter most moderately and appropriately and presented it to the <rs

            type="person">sultan’s</rs> throne’s foot with the utmost respect.
               Similarly, we have made every effort to receive the imperial letter from our esteemed
                  <rs
            ref="#mpr14045" type="person">sultan</rs> – the lord of the fortunate
               conjunction and ruler of the earth – and to send it to you. Those who have previously
               sought friendship with the felicitous court and achieved their goal have endured
               considerable difficulties and exerted their utmost efforts to strengthen this
               friendship. Considering this: if you also demonstrate a favorable effort in the way
               that other rulers have done to establish friendship, it is hoped that all
               well-wishers working for friendship will find their endeavors facilitated. It is
               anticipated that mutual sincere friendship will soon replace all conflicts and
               irritating affairs, allowing joyful blossoms to flourish among friends and bringing
               cheer to all places. What more needs to be said? [That may] remain beyond the bounds
